Cleaning Assistant
Position Description
The role will be responsible for:

All basic cleaning in and around commercial and office buildings.

Cleaning floors and rooms, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.

Cleaning restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.

Vacuuming, emptying trash, and replacing liners.

Setting up, stocking, and maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.

Monitoring and maintaining sanitation and organization of assigned areas.

Transporting dirty linens to the correct area to be cleaned and restocking areas with clean linens.

Assisting other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to clients

Performing additional duties as needed
Role Essentials

Highly responsible and reliable

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Valid Driver’s Licence (VIC/AUST)

Current Working with Children’s Check and Police Check
Role Desirables

First aid training completed

Experience in a similar role
-
Understanding of living and working within a country community
This is a casual position with hours being during the evening and overnight.
